When we take turns in life the road we don’t take anymore disappears at least for us. Nobody is permanent nor are relations. It is good to let go.
Life comes in waves of ups and downs. We meet, we depart. That is the nature of life. If we get stuck each time we will have multiple holes in heart and that heart here entails our own spirit. A holed spirit is as good as a holed vessel.
What’s Temporary and Permanent..
We must deal with all pains or pleasures of all relations as they are all temporary. The only permanent relation we have is with our own spirit. All others are subject to our past karmic events that trigger and propel the meetings, re-encounters and departures or rather breaking off of the relations; some are gifts and beneficent and others are painful punitive punishment and cause anguish and if persisted on the memories; holes in the “heart” become permanent and cause disease in body and mind.
All relations that existed are like flying balloons of light or fireflies that have left the ground, some still visible and others gone into distant skies and nobody knows where they go.
Relationships…
But yes almost all of the relations we develop are there to come and go. The more we cling to one, the more pain we accumulate. The only relation that pays and will never cause any pain is our relation with the Super Soul who will always forgive and erase our wrong doings, our pains and our mishaps that we faced. All other relations will bring about tears either of pleasure or pain but for sure they are all temporary.
Now something that is temporary and not permanent, when we realize and become cognizant of, should not give us pain but yes in our loneliness and after a lapse of time, we realize that some precious relations were very important and most delicate; which we should have tended to with much care, but out of our foolish temporary mind, anger, arrogance and greed or distractions we lose the best relations and then we try to preserve those memories.
Memories…
Those memories can be used as an inspiration to guide into future and store them in our spirit’s vault and if we deserve and there is unfinished business, we will one day meet them again – in this or other dimension.
However for now, to live our lives in peace and calm with a good health we need to deal with all past and just take cues and learning hints from them to not make more mistakes.
All relations are temporary but our spirit is permanent and once we realize that and keep learning from our actions, we will be meeting all good people we met again – in another dimension, in another life time as nobody really dies, we only disappear and become invisible but we do live forever beyond many many life times.
